General Rules of Play
Play is open to customers aged 18 or over who have completed registration and hold an active account with us. We hold a gaming licence for the services we offer and we verify accounts before withdrawals are paid, so the name, age, address and payment details on your account must be your own and must be accurate.
- One account per person, household, device, IP address or payment method, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
- Your login details are personal to you and must not be shared with anyone else.
- Stakes are taken from your real-money balance first, unless a bonus is active on the game you have opened.
- Bonus funds are held separately from real money and are governed by the bonus terms attached to them.
- We may refuse, limit or void a bet where we reasonably believe these rules or our terms have not been followed.
Once you confirm a stake and the round begins, the bet is final. A spin or a hand cannot be cancelled, changed or taken back once it has started, and closing the game window does not undo it. Please double-check your stake and your chosen bet lines or seats before you confirm.
Bets are final
We cannot reverse a settled round because a stake was higher than intended. Use the stake controls in the game, and the limits shown in your account, to keep your play where you want it.
How Bets and Spins Are Settled
Every game runs on the game servers, not in your browser or app. The result recorded on the server at the moment a round completes is the official result, and it is that result which settles your bet. What you see on screen is a presentation of that outcome; where the two differ, the server record stands.
- You confirm your stake and the round opens; the stake leaves your balance at that point.
- The game server generates and records the outcome for the round.
- Any win is calculated from the paytable and rules of that game and credited to the balance that funded the stake.
- The completed round is stored in your game history, where you can look it over at any time.
Each game carries its own rules, paytable and help screen, reached from inside the game window. These cover win lines, feature triggers, bet limits and the order in which wins are paid, and they form part of these rules for that game. The theoretical return to player figure is shown in the same help screen. It is a long-term average measured over many thousands of rounds and does not predict the outcome of any single session.
Malfunctions and Interrupted Games
A malfunction voids all pays and play. If a game, feature or jackpot does not run as designed, whether through a software fault, a display error or an incorrect credit, the affected round is void, any pay arising from it is withdrawn, and any stake taken for it is returned to the balance it came from.
If a round is interrupted
Nothing is lost by closing a game. An unfinished round is held on the server until it can be completed or settled, and our records of that round are the deciding evidence.
- If your connection drops mid-round, reopen the game. A round that was still running will normally resume at the point it stopped.
- Where a round cannot be resumed, it is settled automatically on the server and the result is credited to your balance.
- Unfinished rounds in some games are settled after the period set out in that game's own rules.
- Free spins and feature rounds already awarded remain available when you return to the game.
If you believe a result was affected by a fault, please do not keep playing the same game. Note the game name and the time of the round and contact us, so that the round can be looked into against our records.
Bonus Play and Wagering
Bonus funds, free spins and other promotional credits are offered under their own terms, shown when you claim the offer and in the promotions area of your account. Those terms sit alongside these rules and take precedence on anything specific to the offer.
| Condition | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| Wagering requirement | The offer terms shown when you claim, and the bonus panel in your account |
| Maximum stake while a bonus is active | The offer terms; the game will block a stake above the limit |
| Game contributions towards wagering | The contribution table within the offer terms |
| Expiry of bonus funds and free spins | The countdown shown against the bonus in your account |
- A maximum stake applies while bonus funds are in play; staking above it can forfeit the bonus and anything won from it.
- Games contribute to wagering at different rates, and some games are excluded from wagering altogether.
- Bonus funds are played after the real-money balance only where the game rules or the offer terms say so.
- Buying a feature, or placing a pattern of bets designed to cover most outcomes in a round, is not permitted while a bonus is active.
When wagering has been completed, the remaining bonus balance converts to real money up to any cap set in the offer terms, and it can then be withdrawn in the normal way through the cashier.
Live Casino and Table Games
Live tables are played with a real dealer and streamed from a studio. The dealer's actions at the table, and the result called at the table, settle the round. Where the video stream and our server records disagree, the server records decide.
Placing bets at the table
- Each round has a betting window with a visible countdown. Chips placed after the window closes are returned and take no part in the round.
- A seat may be released if you do not place a bet for the number of consecutive rounds set out in that table's rules.
- Side bets, insurance and similar options are settled under the rules of the table at which you are seated.
Dealer errors and void rounds
If cards are exposed in error, a wheel result is not clean, or the equipment does not perform as it should, the round or the affected bets may be declared void and the stakes returned. Each table's help screen sets out the procedure for its own game, including how misdeals and mis-spins are handled, and those rules apply at that table.
Questions and Disputes About a Round
If you think a round has been settled incorrectly, please contact us before you continue playing. Write to support@casinoslotsshine.co.uk or open the live chat on site, and include the following:
- The game name exactly as it appears in the lobby.
- The date and time of the round, including your time zone.
- The round or game reference, shown in the game history and in your account history.
- A short description of what you expected and what happened instead.
We will check the round against our server records and reply with the outcome. Our records of play are the final evidence in any dispute. If you are not satisfied with our answer, our complaints procedure explains the next step, including referral to an alternative dispute resolution provider.
These rules sit alongside the safer gambling tools in your account: deposit limits, loss and session limits, reality checks, time-outs and self-exclusion. Play is for customers aged 18 or over only. Free, confidential support is available from GambleAware, GamCare and the National Gambling Helpline, and GamStop allows you to self-exclude from online gambling sites in one step.
