Acceptance of these terms and changes to them
These terms apply every time you open an account with us, log in, deposit funds, place a wager or ask for a withdrawal. By registering you confirm that you accept them, together with our privacy policy, our bonus terms and the rules of each individual game.
Where a rule attached to a specific game or promotion differs from these general terms, the specific rule applies to that game or offer. Everything else in these terms continues to apply.
We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect a change in the law, in our licensing obligations, in the games available or in the way the cashier works. Where a change affects your rights in a material way, we will tell you before it takes effect, by e-mail or by a notice in your account.
If you continue to use your account after an update takes effect, you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, you may ask for your available balance to be paid out, subject to the checks set out below, and close your account.
Eligibility and your account
You may only hold an account with us if you meet the conditions below. By registering, and each time you log in, you confirm that all of them remain true.
- You are 18 or over. Gambling by anyone under 18 is an offence. If we find that an account belongs to a person under 18 we will close it, void any winnings and return deposits as required.
- You are resident in the United Kingdom and are using the site from a place where online gambling is lawful.
- You are opening the account in your own name and for your own use, and not on behalf of anyone else.
- You hold one account only. Duplicate accounts may be closed, and any bonus funds or winnings arising from them may be removed.
- The details you give us are accurate and complete, and you will keep them up to date, including your name, address, date of birth, e-mail address and telephone number.
- The money you deposit belongs to you and comes from a lawful source.
- You are not currently self-excluded from our site or through a national self-exclusion scheme.
Keeping your login details safe
Your username, password and any other security details are personal to you. Please do not share them, and do not let anyone else use your account. You are responsible for activity carried out using your login unless it is the result of a failure on our side. If you think someone else knows your details, change your password and tell us straight away so that we can secure the account.
Verification of your account
We hold a gaming licence and are required to confirm who our customers are. We carry out identity, age and address checks on every account, and we may repeat them at any time while the account is open.
- Proof of identity, such as a current photographic identity document in your name.
- Proof of address, such as a recent document showing your name at your registered address.
- Confirmation that the payment method you use belongs to you.
- Where required by law or by our own checks, information about the source of the funds you are depositing.
Checks are normally completed before your first withdrawal, and we may ask for documents earlier, for example when you register or when your account activity changes. Documents are handled in line with our privacy policy and are only used for the purposes described there.
Withdrawals and outstanding checks
A withdrawal will stay pending until the checks that apply to your account are complete. If documents are not provided within a reasonable time, we may restrict play, hold funds or close the account.
Deposits, withdrawals and bonuses
Deposits
You can deposit using the methods shown in the cashier. The minimum and maximum amounts, any fees and the time each method takes are shown there and may change. We do not accept credit cards, in line with the rules that apply to gambling payments in Great Britain. Your account is for play only and is not a banking or savings service.
Withdrawals
Withdrawals are requested in the cashier, up to the limits shown in your account. Where it is possible, funds are returned to the method you used to deposit. Where that method cannot receive payments, we will pay to another method held in your own name.
| Stage | What happens |
|---|---|
| Request | You ask for a withdrawal in the cashier, within the limits shown there. |
| Pending period | The request may sit pending for a short time, during which you can cancel it and return the funds to your balance. |
| Checks | We complete any outstanding identity, address or payment checks that apply to your account. |
| Payment | Funds are sent to your chosen method. The time taken after that depends on the provider. |
Bonuses and promotions
Every offer has its own terms, which are shown with the offer and sit alongside these general rules. Before you opt in, please check the points below.
- The wagering requirement, and which games count towards it and at what rate.
- The maximum stake allowed while a bonus or bonus winnings are active.
- The expiry date of the bonus and of any free spins attached to it.
- Any cap on the amount that can be converted to withdrawable funds.
- Whether the offer is available once per person, household, device or payment method.
Promotions are intended for players who use them in good faith. Where we find bonus abuse, such as duplicate accounts, group play, stakes placed only to clear wagering, or stakes above the stated limit, we may remove the bonus and any winnings from it and withdraw access to future offers. Deposited funds that belong to you are not affected.
Safer gambling and closing your account
Our site is for adults aged 18 or over and is meant to be used for entertainment. You can manage your play at any time using the tools in your account: deposit limits, loss and session limits, reality checks, a short time-out or self-exclusion for a longer period. A limit that reduces your exposure applies straight away; an increase takes effect only after a cooling-off period.
Free, confidential support is available from GambleAware, GamCare and the National Gambling Helpline. If you want to block yourself from all licensed online gambling sites in Great Britain, you can do so through GamStop.
Closing or suspending an account
You can close your account at any time by asking us in live chat or by e-mail at support@casinoslotsshine.co.uk. Any balance that belongs to you will be paid out once the usual checks are complete.
We may suspend or close an account where you breach these terms, where we suspect fraud, collusion or money laundering, where a duplicate account exists, where we are required to do so by law or by our licensing obligations, or where the account has been inactive for a long period. Where an account is inactive, we will contact you using the details you have given us before taking any step that affects the balance.
Complaints, liability and governing law
Complaints and disputes
If something has gone wrong, please tell us. Write to support@casinoslotsshine.co.uk or use the live chat on the site, and include your username and a short description of what happened. We will acknowledge your complaint, look into it and give you an answer within a reasonable time, keeping you updated if it takes longer.
If we cannot settle the matter between us, you can refer it to the independent dispute resolution service that applies to our site. The service is free for you to use, and we will give you its details and tell you how to contact it when we send our final response.
Our liability
We provide the site with reasonable care and skill, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of faults. We are not responsible for losses caused by matters outside our reasonable control, such as a failure of your internet connection or of a third-party payment or game provider.
If a game, a bet or a payment is affected by an error or malfunction, the affected play is void and any related stake is returned. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, and your statutory rights are not affected.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute arising from them is subject to those laws.
Questions about these terms
If any part of this page is unclear, contact us by e-mail or in live chat and we will explain it in plain language before you register or deposit.
